Dear Diary: Standing up when you fall down

I can't believe it has been two months since my last post. I have been busy updating my travel blog which you can find here:  And yes that's right, I have traveled two places for July and August. South Africa for a familiarization trip last June, and a group of friends' visit to the Philippines last July. I had a blast for both trips and I can't hardly wait for the next one, which is a company trip to Bali and will last for 4 days this month.

I got a part time job in a money changer where my sister is working. She works during weekdays and I work during the weekends. I thought of helping her as she got double job during the weekdays. It is decent money and helps in paying the bills. Besides, I also have a goal to take subjects for the next semester. I still hope I can graduate for the year 2016 with my batchmates. No one wants to be left out. I skipped this semester because I need to allocate my money to other things. Oh well, grown up problems... The thing is I don't want my parents to pay for my tuition fee anymore as they have got other things to think about. They are not getting any younger..

Speaking of not getting any younger, I also thought of saving for my future. I realized I need to have an emergency fund and a fund when I have a baby and other things. It is very much better to prepare early. What I did is open a savings account which I am feeling excited about. My friend Jessie who knows about these things than me, gives me useful and helpful advice that I appreciate. At the beginning of this year, I definitely had a lot of money problems, poor me who abused my credit card a lot. I have learned my lesson the hard way but looking at myself now, I knew I had improved. I am grateful for the people who helped me especially my parents who lets Mac and I stay for them for a minimum amount. Without their help, I know I will still be stuck with my own ways. I also have a friend who gave me words of wisdom every morning for some time and that really helped. We don't talk that much nowadays as she's busy with other stuff too, but we became close friends that I knew if I start a conversation with her, we can just go on and on with our lives. I am also thankful for my husband who took a great leap from his old job. We are truly blessed. I think I deleted my depressed post last year. If there's one thing I learned about my last year's problem, that is - If you found yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is to stop digging deeper. Instead, pick up yourself and think of a solution.

That will be all for now, let me leave you a picture of me and my friends having a relaxing time at the beach.

I am now working on the chapter one of my Philippine trip, truly a memorable one that I got inspired to write a series of it and I will soon post here. :)
